JSBC objective is to
place, guide and maintain people with hearing
impairment into open employment
with Deaf-friendly employers.
It also aims to
provide custodian care support to both the
employers as well as the Deaf
employees.
The JSBC's
initiation consists of:

Client's assessment to
determine their eligibility to achieve the best possible job
match.

Job Support staff's on-site
workplace visits to employers to understand the job
requirements and expectations. Better job
profiles ensure that each placement works well for both
the employer and the client, thus
reducing staff turnover.

Client will undergo two (2)
weeks orientation training at new workplace.
-
Job Support staff provides
ongoing support to both the client and employer to ensure
client stays actively engaged at workplace.
-
Arrangement to assist employer
to tap on the Open Door Fund (ODF).

hours from Mondays to Fridays:
Mondays to Fridays : 8.30am
to 1pm and 2pm to 5.30pm
**Eve of Public Holiday 8.30am to 12.30pm
** 24 December, 31 December and eve of lunar new year
Closed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and public holiday
