Do you know that The Singapore Association for the
Deaf (SADeaf) provides basic legal advice to our
registered clients? SADeaf's Free Legal Clinic is
made possible through the support of a lawyer, Ms
Lynette Koh, a volunteer with SADeaf who is
profoundly deaf in her left ear. Ms Lynette Koh is a
litigation lawyer with a leading law firm in
Singapore. Previously, she was an in-house legal
counsel with a foreign bank for approximately 2
years. This service is strictly for registered
clients of SADeaf and is meant to provide free legal
advice and guidance for basic queries only. In any
event, it is not meant to substitute legal
representation or to attend to drafting of legal
documentation or for representation in any Court or
tribunal hearings. Clients are advised to seek
formal legal advice and representation before acting
on any preliminary information or advice given
through this free legal service. If legal
representation is necessary, SADeaf will still
request our registered clients to consult lawyers
formally.
Registered
clients of SADeaf, who wish to seek any legal
advice, may forward their full name, client number
and enquiry details to
freelegalclinic@sadeaf.org.sg.
Please
note that Interpretation charges apply if clients
need the service of an interpreter. |
